May Bank Holiday Weekend

Hiya guys!

Hope everybody has a great May Bank holiday weekend and maybe the sun will shine?

Just to let all you guys know our opening times this weekend.

Saturday night is business as usual.

Sunday were closing. So that's no sushi delivery or take-away! Sorry!

Monday our delivery & take away opens but both shops are closed!

Tuesday back to business as usual!

Easter Opening Times

Our city centre shop will be closed on Friday 2nd April and will re-open on Wednesday 7th April.
The university shop will close Thursday 1st April due to re-open Wednesday 7th.
Our delivery service will also be closing Thursday 1st April until Wednesday 7th.

Hi everyone!

Here at Sesame we hope you’ve all had a great start to the year! I know we have! The shops are busier than ever and week on week our delivery and take away is becoming even more popular!

Oliver Awards

As you may have already heard Sesame has been nominated for 2 Oliver Awards! We are up for the “Best Newcomer” and “Best Fast Food” awards. We are all really excited about attending the award ceremony next month and hoping we don’t leave empty handed. The awards will be announced on Monday 15^th March so fingers crossed for Sesame!

Summer events

Already we are looking towards the summer, especially with such a cold winter and so much snow to deal with, and are well on the way with planning various summer events. First we are currently involved with the Leeds Loves Food Festival. This year the festival hopes to expand outside the city centre with branches of the event located in Chapel Allerton and Headingley. With a strong customer base in both areas we of course will be attending with our own sushi stall! As we know more about arrangements we will keep you posted!

In addition to this we have already taken 2 bookings for catering for summer weddings. If you need help or want any further information about Sesame catering you can contact us via email at info@ilovesesame.co.uk. To give you some idea of the kind of food we can provide, in the past we have catered sushi canapés, sandwich platters, pie and peas suppers and desserts ranging from our delicious cupcakes to cheesecakes and baileys chocolate crunch! We can tailor any catering job to suit the needs of your event!

Our city centre shop is still open during the snowy weather, now serving a hot homemade soup of the day to help warm you guys up! At only £2 per portion with a bread roll its ideal for the cold winter days.
In addition to this celebrity chef Ainsley Harriet was in Leeds and happened to try our very own sushi! He was quoted on saying it was “Great Stuff” and he very much enjoyed the salmon! So there you have it guys, if Sesame sushi is good enough for celebrity chefs I’m sure it’s good enough for the rest of us!

Let’s hope the snow doesn’t last much longer and roll on the warmer weather!

Delivery on Thursday 28th January...

...Hello All...

Just a quick announcement to inform you that the delivery and take-away service will not be operating Thursday evening due to all the chefs taking part in a huge event Sesame is putting on tomorrow.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause anyone, and we will be back in the swing of things on Friday...just in time for the weekend....yummy!
